The Hon. Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura excels at this year’s Africa Youth Connekt Summit 2018 in Rwanda (Kigali). It is clear that the summit brings together people from all walks of life who work in the interest of Young people across the Africa continent. It is no secret that African youth have endeavored in the world of education, agriculture, health, etc. This gathering is a pool that helps to bring to the fore where we are as a people and the way forward.
The Hon. Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Orman Bangura was on 10th October, 2018 agreed on by his colleague ministers across Africa to speak on their behalf. This summit has about 2,500 delegates across Africa and all Youth Ministers in Africa are present. Sierra Leone is blessed to have a vibrant and energetic Minister whose depth in youth related issues is commendable. It is no surprise to have him as the principal speaker to put a case across for Africa. Owing to the history of Sierra Leone, ranging from the 11year senseless civil war, the Ebola epidemic, Mudslides among others, the plight of our youth has become a growing concern. The Hon. Minister’s speech was thrilling, fascinating and tear jerkin as he made others to relate to the issues therein. Kudos Hon. Minister, keep it rocking for the Green, white & Blue.
